Home Sweet Home

Well, my loving husband finally caved and agreed to put something on our walls! I have to tell you - I am a bit giddy with excitement! You see, when we moved into this house Matt did not want to put one little hole in a wall because it was all "sooooo new"!!! I understood his thinking and agreed not to touch the walls.....but it has now been nearly 6 months and I'm a little (OK, a LOT) tired of looking at blank walls. So tonight we put up our first piece of "artwork " in our children's bathroom. It was as if we were embarking on this great adventure as we put the children to bed and I ran to get the verse that was to be hung - skipping half of the way! Maybe part of the reason Matt was up for this was that this type of artwork did not require us to puncture the wall in any way, shape, or form - right up his alley! We are both happy with the result and I find myself eyeing the other blank walls in our house. ..oh poor, poor Matt.

By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.
proverbs 24:3-4

Love this Jamie! How neat for them to see this over and over as they get older. You are such a great mom!

Matt sounds like Roger. Especially now that we are going to put the house up for sale. NO NEW HOLES! He better realize that our new house is ours forever, so bring out the hammer!

Love it Jamie!  You know I have lived in my house now for 4 years and let me see I have a couple of holes in my walls.  Cory hates holes!!  You want to come decorate?? :)

I still have empty walls, too. Just waiting for that "Ah Ha" moment to hit me w/what to do as far as decorating.

Where did you get that wall art? It's really neat and different.
