This is a message for all you ladies out there.
A message about toilets....and a little girl power.
I have asked that sweet sweet husband of mine to replace our toilet seats for YEARS. Yes, you read that correctly....YEARS. They are nasty and every single time I clean them I cringe. I have even given him the brand of seat covers we have when he was heading to Lowe's thinking he would pick some up.
No luck.
Last week as I was spring cleaning I decided I was fed up with my toilet seats. I got online and looked at how to know what kind of cover you need. After doing some research I found the correct covers and purchased them (I needed 2 for 2 of our toilets).
I asked that sweet sweet husband of mine (he's good looking too...have I mentioned that?) to please, please, PLEASE replace the covers. I even let the new seats sit out thinking that would remind him.
It's been a WEEK.
No luck.
Today I was fed up and decided to take matters into my own hands.
I sat down and watched a YouTube video on how to replace toilet seats. I got out my tools and with a little elbow grease I removed the old covers, and installed the new ALL. BY. MYSELF.
Girl Power: An amazing super power that only girls possess. It becomes available when you know EXACTLY what you want....and you are fully determined not to quit until you get it. Never underestimate the power of it.
Ladies...don't wait for prince charming.
