It's Strawberry Season!

Eva and I made strawberry jam yesterday. We had so much fun and Eva really did do a lot of the work...she loves helping mommy out in the kitchen! The jam has to sit for 24 hours at room temp and it was hard for my little 3 year old to wait that long to try it out!! After a long 24 hours, tonight we had a "breakfast dinner" and had some of Eva's special jam!!!! She was SOOOOOOOO excited!

My little helper washing all of the strawberries
Cutting off the stems with her safety cutter (thanks for the idea Sarah)!
Mashing as only a 3 year old can mash!
The finished product...a pretty jar of jam.
