On the day of Jaden's birthday we went to a muffin shop for breakfast! Eva and Jaden love this little place and Jaden was excited to start his birthday celebrations there! We brought along candles and sang to him!
Afterwards we went to a little cupcake bakery and let Jaden pick out a very special cupcake to use for our evening celebration.
That night we had a special dinner that Jaden picked out - Pancakes!!!! Afterwards we sang to him again and he got to blow out the candles on his very special cupcake!
We always give our children their gifts on their REAL birthday (not on the day of the party). One of Jaden's gifts from Matt and I this year was his "Big Boy Bible" - which is just like his sister's Bible. He was soooooo excited. After reading it together that night he went to bed with it (and a flashlight) and read in bed awhile.
The following weekend we had Jaden's BIG birthday party....and we celebrated MICKEY style!
Jaden wanted Mickey Mouse cupcakes and was sooooo excited to share them with his friends!
He had a LOT of help opening his gifts with all of his little friends and family...
He played alllllll day long and was exhausted by the end of the night....but he had a blast and that is what is most important. Jaden has officially been 3 for nearly a week now and not one day has gone by that he doesn't ask me a LEAST 3 times, "Mommy, am I still this many??!!!"......
Yep Buddy....you still are....and I can't believe it.Happy Birthday to my favorite little guy in the whole wide world!

He even looks older! Looks like you had some great celebrations. Lately, George has been saying,, "me free." (three) I'll say, "what?" Then he'll say "no, me two." Two and a half and already wanting to be three! I can't believe how old these adorable little boys are! How cute is reading the big boy Bible in bed. Glad you had a great week!
Awwhhh, Doesn't it go SO fast?!!! He is the cutest kid!! I love the pic of him discovering his Bible! So sweet with the flashlite:)!!

Love it! We loved the time to celebrate with the "Little Man", he is so loving and caring, even at the young age of three!! LOVE IT!!
Loved the party Jaden! We can't wait to go camping with you so we can take that fishing pole and catch THE BIG ONE!!!
